This is where Illinois begins. It's a site designed to showcase the region's history in a way from which we can learn. We study history not to know the "who, what, when and where," but rather the "why" and the "how." The "who, what, when and where" of history is knowledge. The "why" and "how", well knowing that can lead to wisdom.

A Drunk, A Shovel, My Elbow — Ouch!
Got hit by a drunk driver Friday night wielding a shovel.
Only got out of the hospital last night. Can't use my left hand.
Blogging updates will be slow, but book orders are still going out.
oh my gosh! r u all right! Do you know who did this to you! Did he get arrested! OMFG! Who ever it was should get hit by a drunk driver and see how he or she feels! Hope you feel better! ;)
